A year of highs and lows, births and deaths, dangers and opportunities, despair and hope. A few of many activities follow.
Professionally this past year I taught two courses at NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service on strategic management and organizational and managerial development; designed and facilitated a UN Task Team workshop in preparation for Habitat III (global UN urban development conference); edited the UN's New Urban Agenda; published my book, A Compassionate Civilization (https://www.amazon.com/dp/1546972617;) edited with Dr. Cosmas Gitta 3 Aruban sustainable development case studies; advised a social media start up,Trusted Sharing; and nominated an organization for the Opus Award.
Personally this past year I campaigned for Bernie and Hillary; joined the local Democratic party precinct; attended meetings of Our Revolution; celebrated the passing of our dog Lady; welcomed kitten Mr. Chickabee to our family; attended a Buddhist retreat in Oklahoma City led by Drs. Larry Ward and Peggy Rowe; met with my cousins and Prof. Mark Davies in OKC; met with old friends, Drs. Kang and Kang; hosted sleepovers for the grandkids with Bonnie; hosted Lowie Kawasaki and family in our home; and posted on social media.
Gratitude for my 73rd year.
